WHS Policy

Croudace Greenhouses International and its officers recognise that the health and safety of all workers visitors and contractors is of the utmost importance. As such we are committed to:

  1. Maintain a safe workplace and promote the safety, health and welfare of all employees, customers and contractors, at all times;
  2. The implementation and maintenance of Work Health and Safety Project Management Plans;
  3. Provide sufficient and suitable resources to implement, maintain and continuously improve all aspects and impacts of our safety performance;
  4. Ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable legislation, mandatory guidelines, codes, standards and other relevant requirements;
  5. Set achievable objectives and targets for safety and measure and monitor our performance against these targets;
  6. Clearly define the roles, responsibilities and accountabilities of all our team; and provide them with industry and professional training;
  7. Apply a risk management philosophy and practice that aims to identify and eliminate safety hazards and problems wherever possible, and where this cannot be achieved, implement appropriate control measures to manage the risks at a level that is as low as reasonably practicable;
  8. Consult with, involve and encourage feedback from our customers, our team, the community and other stakeholders to assist us in continually improving our safety processes;
  9. Preventing nonconformity, accidents, incidents, and undesirable occurrences and should this fail, investigating the causes and providing effective rehabilitation and remediation;
  10. Providing injury management support to all workers who sustain a work related injury or illness with a focus on safe and early return to meaningful work in accordance with the legislative requirements; and
  11. Providing a workplace that does not tolerate discrimination, harassment, bullying or unethical behaviour and investigates and acts on all reported instances.

The focus of Croudace Greenhouses International’s health and safety management system is preventing hazards. We will work within the framework of our health and safety management plan for risk assessment and control of hazards, to progressively improve safe behaviours and safe systems of work, and has chosen to meet the requirements of:

  • The Australian Government Building and Construction WHS Accreditation Scheme.

Environmental Policy

As a manufacturer and builder of specialist research greenhouses Croudace Greenhouses international acknowledges a responsibility to the environment and are commitment to:

  1. Systematically and continually improve environmental performance by preventing pollution, recycling waste, monitoring, tracking and reporting our environmental performance;
  2. The implementation and maintenance of Environmental Management Plans;
  3. Providing appropriate resources, support and training to maintain and improve our environmental performance;
  4. Ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable environmental legislation, mandatory guidelines, codes, standards and other relevant requirements;
  5. Establishing appropriate measurable objectives for environmental management and reviewing our performance against them;
  6. Clearly defining the environmental roles, responsibilities and accountabilities of all our team and provide appropriate training;
  7. Protect the environment by applying a risk management philosophy and practice that aims to identify and eliminate adverse environmental impacts wherever possible, and where this cannot be achieved, implement appropriate control measures to manage the risks at a level that is as low as reasonably practicable;
  8. Preventing nonconformity, incidents, pollution and undesirable occurrences and should this fail, investigating the causes and providing effective rehabilitation and remediation;
